Immersions at Marist Solidarity

Recently Lavalla School was visited by 16 students and 3 staff from St Rita's in Brisbane.
The students were accompanied by the husband of the school Principal. The girls thoroughly involved themselves in the life of the school, working with staff on the grounds and maintenance team and also teaching prepared lessons to the students. The week spent with the students has made a very good impression on the Lavalla students. The girls were given a moving farewell and some gifts to take home with them. Seng who is the sewing teacher and an accomplished seamstress created a blouse for each of the girls and staff.
